Austin Cap Metro Real Riders Campaign

Personally, I love riding the bus and mass transit in general. But a lot of people don’t. And that’s what Austin’s transit agency, Cap Metro, hired my agency to do something about it.

To combat negative perceptions of bus ridership, we developed a campaign that showcased Austinites who rode the bus and why it was their preferred method of transportation. Of course we highlighted some of the city’s more colorful personalities, but we also showed that Cap Metro was a great solution for people who just wanted a headache-free way to get to work, errands, and more.

The campaign included out-of-home signage, including buswraps, banner ads, organic and paid social media, social video, sports event sponsorships, and for a while, the Cap Metro app was skinned with art from the Real Riders campaign.
